Women is a power center !!!!

Indian women are equally responsible for creating inequality around our daily life.  In-fact we practice it daily, weather its in our expectation or its in our own actions.

Ask this question to, to be moms : what kind of toys are you bringing for your child ?
Its a girl, lets get something PINK  or SOFT TOYS !
Its a boy, lets NOT get SOFT toys !

When a boy cries, mothers teach him  "guys don't cry !"
When rakshabadhan festival comes, mothers teach their boys that they have to protect their sisters !
When financial need comes, women expect men to take charge.

When a daughter-in-law breaks norms,  its a woman( mother-in-law) who questions and commands her son, how dare she go out in those clothes ?

When a son takes his wife out for a date/dinner or hugs her in public, its a woman (mother-in-law) who tells her son, "you are spoiling her ! you have become "lattu" behind your wife !"

When a bride is looking for a groom, her critics are  :
"And yea  he earns less, less than who?  less than what I expect ? is it --- then why don't you earn -- I am a woman !"

Why so much responsibility  and expectation from men ?
Why we Indian women don't like to listen or see our men cry ?
Why cant we encourage them to be expressive,  weather its holding daughter's hand or his wife's hand.
Why we tag them as, "he is a girl !!"

So wait are women not equally part of this bipolar vanity ?
Are women not equally responsible for building insensitivity in men ?

Somewhere we are equally responsible of making this division of men and women in our society.
As men needs to change their thinking, we equally need to change our expectations, be open to their sensitive nature, be open to their feelings, encourage communication, don't take machine games as gifts, if its a baby boy !
